Hydrological Modelling

Details
Numerical/mathematical techniques were used to simulate the hydrologic cycle and its effects on the upper Great Lakes basin. This allowed researchers to better estimate the historical record of hydrological data, including historical net basin supply sequences and individual components (precipitation, evaporation and runoff), and also simulate and predict plausible future scenarios for the purposes of testing Lake Superior regulation plan options.
