Improved Data Collection and Monitoring
- Long-term data collection is fundamental to improving scientific understanding of how the Great Lakes function and how they are being affected by both natural forces and human activities. This task is related to the Study's efforts at establishing important new data collection and monitoring programs in the upper Great Lakes for use in the Study itself and continuing after the Study is completed.
