-20 years with Ontario’s Conservation Authorities, initially as a Resources Manager seconded to individual conservation authorities ( Otonabee, Prince Edward, and Napanee CA’s)  and progressing to Assistant Director , Policy Development, and Program Implementation, Conservation Authorities Branch, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources

-10 years with Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources as Deputy Regional Director, Program Services and Program Implementation directly involved as Co-Manager of Lake Ontario, Great Lakes Fisheries Program. Also was lead manager for Fish and Wildlife, Lands, Water Management, Parks Management for Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources; District Manager, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources , senior manager for all MNR programs within district area.

-5 years as CAO of Conservation Ontario, the umbrella organization of Ontario Conservation Authorities and organized their collective recovery after the significant downsizing of the mid nineties.

-6 years as Policy Advisor Ontario, Ducks Unlimited Canada. Developed in concert with senior managers of DUC the public policy liaison process of DUC.  Acted a lead staff person for DUC’s participation in the Walkerton Inquiry

-Served on numerous public policy development Committees and Task Forces including: Source Water Advisory Committee (MOE), Source Water Implementation Committee (MOE), Natural Spaces Advisory Council (MNR), and Great Lakes Annex Agreement Advisory Panel (MNR).
