Glen G. Nekvasil
Glen G. Nekvasil is Vice President-Corporate
Communications for
Lake
Carriers’ Association.
He is responsible for LCA’s Annual Report, news
releases, speeches, testimony and statistics, and oversees
LCA’s Navigation, Vessel Personnel & Safety, and Security
Committees.
He
joined LCA in 1983.
Nekvasil is also Secretary of Great Lakes Maritime
Task Force and Director of Media Relations for the
Washington, DC-based Maritime Cabotage Task Force.
Prior to joining LCA, Nekvasil was a Public
Relations Assistant at Pickands Mather & Co., which then managed The Interlake
Steamship Company.
Nekvasil is a graduate of
Westminster
College in Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Political Science.
