Patricia A. Madigan

Patricia has a long history of environmental communications and policy work in the public sector.

She served as communications manager for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources from 2006-2007.

Before that, she worked as deputy director of communications for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, from 1999-2006.

Patricia also was involved with the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration, created in 2004 to develop a national restoration and protection action plan for the Great Lakes.

She retired from Ohio government in 2007, and has since established a freelance writing and consulting firm called Madigan Ink. She also teaches English as an adjunct instructor at Columbus State Community College.

Patricia is an Ohio native and holds a Ph.D. in English from The Ohio State University.
