Kim Walz has been a Water Resources engineer with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for over 25 years. Currently she is working in the Office of the Great Lakes on Wisconsin Great Lakes policy development and project management and implementation. Kim oversees the management of Federal and State grant programs for Great Lakes projects for Areas of Concern, the Lakewide Management Plans, and Great Lakes Protection Fund. She is also works with the Council of Great Lakes Governors and formally a member of the Great Lakes Future Roundtable. Previous work experience was the management of sediment clean-up projects on the Fox River and Newton Creek, and the WDNR Technical Advisory Committee on Disinfection.
