Ken graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto, in 1952.
He previously worked for Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (now the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority), where he served as general manager.
Ken also spent time with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, where he was in charge of the land acquisition program for the Niagara Escarpment, part of Niagara Falls. Ken retired in 1989.
Besides PIAG, he also has served on advisory committees including the Ontario Heritage Trust and the Wye Marsh Wildlife Center.
Ken is currently on the Board of Directors for the Georgian Bay Township Historical Society.
He lives in Port Severn, Ontario, the gateway to the Trent-Severn Waterway and the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay. He and his wife Joan have four children and nine grandchildren. All have inherited Ken’s love of boating and skiing.
